I am Cycling4Gaza this year in Spain to raise awareness and funds for PCRF's Mental Health Project in Gaza. My aim is to
raise at least $5,000 for this worthy cause and I need your support and your donations to achieve this goal.
This will be my 3rd Cycle4Gaza, and my previous cycles have been some of the most rewarding experinces of my life. It is wonderful to know that you are cycling for such a worthy cause and much needed initiative, and that all the time and energy is going directly towards helping the children of Gaza who have experinced, and continue to exprerience, unimaginable trauma and violence. The Mental Health Initiative is helping thousands of children and adults who need all the help and resources to better their mental and emotional welbeing, while surviving in one of the most difficult places to live on Earth.

The 2014 war on Gaza left thousands of children injured not only physically but also psychologically. Today, approximately 373,000 children in Gaza suffer from emotional and psychological trauma and are in dire need of mental care support and reintegration into society.
The objective of the Gaza Mental Health Project is to assess children’s needs, provide them the service they require and to train social workers on administering screening questionnaires. Over 1,300 children have been screened by 5 field workers to date and their subsequent programs are currently being developed.
